I am associate judge at the IWC and promote many different wines in my job as MD of Green Row. I've just discovered the Lebanese wine Hochar and love a good pinot noir.

We've had several of the Santa Carolina wines over the last couple of years but had to share these because they are just so good and such excellent value for money.

I think you can get them from Majestic and they are a step up meaning that you get so much more from the wines in terms of complexity. This Cab sav is loaded with fruit, it has weighty tannins and is fabulous with red meat. Made from old vines and benefiting from really diverse climate conditions in the Colchagua valley where they are from. Great colour too!

Ask for Santa Carolina in Majestic!

An absolutely delicious wine, introduced by friends. At this price point what stands out is the length. You feel you just have to sip it and and the taste remains where lesser wines just slip away.
