The first time I tasted Cote du Rhone was 35 years ago while touring France and it is still one of my favourite French wines

Had a bottle of this with some friends at a picnic with some nice pasta, baguettes, hummus and fruit; it was so easy to drink and balanced. Nice nose of blackberry and plum. Great finish, just a touch of spice.
